3 Powerful Things You Must Allow to Heal and Come Alive Again
You must allow yourself to heal. But let’s be honest: healing isn’t always pretty.
It’s not just positive affirmations, sage sticks, and vision boards (though I love all three). Healing is a return — to your truth, your body, your voice. It’s a reckoning and a remembering.
If you’ve been stuck for a while — if your light feels dim, if you’re just going through the motions — this is your gentle (but firm) nudge:
💫 It’s time to come alive again.
But how?
After my own messy self-healing journey — and after guiding hundreds of others through theirs inside my Energy Clinic — I’ve seen the same core truths come up again and again.
Below are the 3 things you must allow yourself if you truly want to heal.
1. Allow Yourself to Release the Heaviness of the Past
You can’t pour anything new into a full cup.
If your emotional cup is brimming with guilt, regret, buried trauma, and unprocessed pain, you’re not broken — you’re just full. And I see this every single day in the clinic.
Healing begins with space.
But that space only comes from letting go. And that doesn’t mean ignoring your pain — it means facing it, honoring it, and deciding not to carry it forward. This is something that IS within our control. It is a decision that we must make.
And yes… this part? It’s hard.
Healing can stir up things you buried long ago. That’s why so many people resist it. They’re afraid of what might surface. Does the fear of more pain outweigh the desire to feel better?
But here’s the truth:
You’re strong enough to feel it now.
In my own healing, I had to dig up the dark, uncomfortable, unspoken things. It wasn’t easy. But the freedom that came on the other side? Worth every tear.
And I’ve seen this exact transformation over and over again in my Energy Clinic. When we stop avoiding and start allowing, something sacred begins.
Try This Journaling Prompt:
What am I still holding on to that I’ve already outgrown?
Write it. Feel it. Burn it (safely). Move it through your body. Cry. Exhale.
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting. It means your past no longer dictates your future.
You can put yourself back in control!
2. Allow Yourself to Receive: Love, Kindness + Healing Energy
Here’s the wild truth:
Most of us say we want healing — but we don’t allow ourselves to receive it.
When I am doing personal coaching with people, one of the things we always have to address is that many people are too hard on themselves. They don’t believe that THEY are worthy of healing.
We deflect compliments. We dismiss support. Many wear independence like armor. And we expect healing to come through effort, not surrender.
But real healing happens when you let yourself be held.
As someone who once prided myself on being “the strong one,” I had to learn the sacred art of receiving. Letting love in. Allowing people support me. Letting energy move into my body instead of constantly giving it away. And it still pops up at times … I just have to let myself flow.
Healing means softening.
It means saying:
- I’m allowed to rest without guilt.
- I’m worthy of love, even when I’m messy.
- I don’t have to earn goodness — I am goodness.
When my clients in the Energy Clinic begin to open to receiving healing energy — that’s when the real breakthroughs happen.
Practice Receiving:
- Let someone make you a meal.
- Accept a compliment without brushing it off.
- Take 10 deep breaths with one hand on your heart and whisper,
“It is safe to receive.”
You don’t have to do this alone.
You don’t have to struggle to deserve joy.
All of us are allowed to feel good.
3. Allow Yourself to Heal By Having a Purpose
You weren’t born to heal forever. Eventually, you have to live.
And what brings you back to life isn’t another to-do list or another “fix.” It’s a purpose. A mission. A sense of why you’re here.
This doesn’t mean you need a 10-year plan or a big flashy dream. Your purpose might be:
- Being a cycle-breaker for your lineage.
- Creating something that brings light to others.
- Loving your people well and living in alignment with your truth.
In the healing journey, we often get stuck in the spiral of healing the wound. But healing is not the end goal — living is.
Purpose gives your healing direction.
And sometimes, it’s your purpose that finishes the healing.
In our community The Alive Again Collective, we are surrounded by kind and supportive people who help inspire us to continue our healing journey, and we don’t have to do it alone.
Ask Yourself:
What makes me feel most alive — even if it’s just for 5 minutes?
Go do that. That’s your starting point.
So… Are You Ready to Come Alive Again?
To move from stuck to vibrant?
It starts with giving yourself permission to:
- Release the heaviness.
- Receive love and healing energy.
- Reclaim your purpose and light.
None of this is about perfection. It’s about permission. To feel and fall … and rise again.
It is not about healing one thing, it is a holistic healing.
You don’t need to fix yourself.
You just need to come home to yourself.

💛 A Final Word from My Heart to Yours
If no one told you today:
You are not broken. You are in process. And that process is sacred.
Healing is messy, nonlinear, and deeply personal. But it’s also magical. Powerful. Alive.
I’ve walked this path myself. I’ve held space for hundreds of people in my Energy Clinic as they’ve stepped into their healing journeys — and every single one of them proves that aliveness is always waiting on the other side.
You’ve been through enough.
Now, it’s time to return to yourself.
To light. To softness.
And truth.
To purpose.
You’re allowed to come back to life.
Welcome home.
